The 2nd Annual Rocket City Ukulele Festival was a successful event with a great turn out. I would like to thank the volunteers, sponsors, my Nashville friends (Bob's Your Uncle & The Ukedelics) for there entertainment, Rock Creek Production LLC. (David and Deb Crews) for there audio work, Sweet Heat for the great food, Derek F. from LANIKAI who gave us our Grand prize give-a-way Concert Ukulele, Donna Frost, Kirk Jones (Shady J's) and Bob Tedrow (Homewood Music) who made all them great pic's, plus all you local ukulele groups and ukulele strummer that came near and far to be with us at this event. a big mahalo, thank you.

2nd Annual Rocket City Ukulele Festival

The Second Annual Rocket City Ukulele Festival was held on 4 May 2019 at the National Speleological Society in Huntsville, AL and is organized by the Tennessee Valley Ukulele Club.  The Festival’s goal is to provide a family-friendly event to promote interest and enjoyment of the Ukulele in and around the Tennessee Valley and to advance and share "Ukulele Love”.  The program feature beginner sessions and classes on various aspects of ukulele care and playing. Those not participating in the classes was  able to gather in small groups to share music and expertise. Open-mic sessions was available as a opportunities for club performances and group participation to strum-alongs. Tables and chairs were provided and attendees are advised to bring music stands.
