2019 Rocket City Ukulele Festival Event Rules and Guidelines

​

The Rocket City Ukulele Festival is an Educational, Family-Centered Event.

 

The information below is provided to enhance your enjoyment of the event.Sign up for door prizes at the registration table on the day of the festival.

 

Ukulele Club performances-Limit of 5 songs / 20 minutes of playing time.

Club/Group Performers not previously registered for a program slot and individuals will sign up

 

Open Mic at the registration table on the day of the festival.Open Mic performers-2 Song Limit. Keep things family friendly. Must have mostly ukuleles performing. Limit banter and introductions, with an 8 minute time limit.

 

The Rocket City Ukulele Festival and its organizers are not responsible for any personal injury or loss of / damage to property during your visit. Participants are responsible for their own health, well-being,and property.

 

The Rocket City Ukulele Festival and its organizers assume no responsibility for business conducted between participants with vendors and businesses either on or off site during your visit.We expect all participants (workers, guests, vendors, performers) to help serve as good stewards of the NSS premises grounds, buildings, and facilities

 

We are all here to enjoy the music, make friends and have a great day at the fest.

 

GENERAL RULES

 

No open fires are allowed outside, with the exception of cooking equipment by food vendors.

 

No alcoholic beverages are permitted on premises.

 

Public intoxication / illegal activities will not be tolerated

No firearms, explosives or incendiary items.

 

Plants and grounds may not be damaged in any way.

 

No digging or excavation.

 

Place all trash in the designated trash receptacles.

 

Rocket City Ukulele Festival Tips

​

We recommend you bring:​​

  • Water/hydration

  • Comfortable clothing

  • Ukuleles

  • Music Stands

 

There are onsite toilet facilities and running water. 

There will be a food vendor on site. A map of nearby restaurants (<10 minute drive) will be provided on request from the Registration Desk.

Bringing in your own food / cooler is allowed. 

Parents/guardians are responsible for supervision of their children.
